We’re excited to welcome Dr Morgan Wishney as a guest presenter with the OHT Collective. With extensive experience in orthodontics and a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, Dr Wishney will deliver a practical and insightful session tailored to all oral health practitioners.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- To understand the key concepts in dental and facial development relevant to orthodontic treatment timing
- To grasp why different orthodontic interventions, require different timings
- To comprehend the burdens that early treatment may create for patients
- To understand the ramifications of obstructive sleep apnoea and the relevance to orthodontic intervention

There will be dedicated time for questions and answers, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with Dr Wishney. All attendees will receive a summary of study notes along with a list of references for further reading, supporting the opportunity to claim additional CPD points. This makes the session a valuable and accessible learning experience for clinicians at all stages of practice.

Dr Morgan Wishney completed his dental degree at the University of Adelaide and his Orthodontic training at Sydney University. He owns and operates Newcastle Orthodontics. Dr Wishney is a visiting consultant for Hunter New England Health, a member of the John Hunter Hospital Cleft Team and an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Sydney Orthodontic Department.
